born at Woodford, VT; died at John's Branch, Andrain co., MO; marr. at Hoosick NY, 19 Nov 1837, Jemima Adeline, daughter Caleb and Hannah (Brooks) Clark, born in Petersburg, NY, 15 Sep 1814, died at John's Branch. He (Henry) removed to Geneseo, IL, from Hoosick, where he had married; in 1854 removed again to the border of Iowa (Whitesides Co.); in 1856 to Wisconsin, with his cousin Myron DeGroodt and mother and brother, with two wagons and fourteen head of cattle. In 1863 removed to Iowa, and in 1867 to Missouri, where his uncle DeGroodt lived.
